Erika Gibbs Barney--Company Director

Erika has been tumbling and dancing since she was 4 years old. She has been on studio competition teams for 11 years, with additional training in ballet on the side. She was captain of the Lone Peak Drill Team, where they took home the Region 7 and 4A State titles, as well as the national championship title in Orlando, Florida. She has taken tumbling training throughout her dance career, and began teaching several years ago. Erika was the assistant coach for Roy High School drill team. Erika is a gifted choreographer, and is frequently hired to choreograph for studios and drill teams all over Utah. She also teaches military workshops at dance camps. She is a great asset to our program. Erika loves children!


Tiffany Parry--Ballet Director

Tiffany started dancing with Jacqueline College at the age of three and has danced with Utah Regional Ballet as both a Junior and a Senior Company member. In High School she was a member of the Ballroom Company and Dance Company and performed various solo roles. She has performed in several ballets including the Twelve Dancing Princesses, Hansel and Gretel, The Nutcracker, Legend ofTimpanogos, and Cinderella. Tiffany had the opportunity to travel to Austria with Utah Regional Ballet where the Company performed Focal Point, a contemporary ballet piece. Tiffany received a scholarship to Craft of Choreography as well as a full-ride scholarship to UVSC.

Megan Fluckiger
Megan has been dancing for 14 years, and has trained in all types of dance, including, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, modern, and lyrical. She was President of the Logan Hi-Lo Drill team where she lead her team to the Region, and State titles, as well as the National Championship title in Orlando Florida. She was a member of the All State Drill Team for 2 years, Academic All State, received the 2007 UDDA dance scholarship, and Dance Sterling Scholar. She has taught and choreographed many classes and competition routines, and was the head student Choreograper for her high schools production of the musical “42nd Street.” Megan currently attends UVU, where she was a member of the Utah Valley Dance Team. As a gifted dancer and choreographer she has been invited to perform at a Utah Jazz half time, UDA All Star Performances, was recognized as a UDA dance captain, and has attended a variety of dance camps across the western U.S. where she has taken from some of the top choreographers in the industry including her idol Shane Sparks. She has taught in many different capacities and loves sharing her joy of dance with everyone.
Kandis Bennion--Tumbling Director

Kandis Bennion is a former BYU gymnast where she contributed to the team for three years. As a walk-on her freshman year in 2004, Kandis competed in the first three meets of the season on beam for the Cougars. In 2005 as a sophomore Kandis earned a solid position in the line up and competed in all meets on the beam and four times on the floor, earning career highs on both events (9.900 on the beam and 9.825 on floor). In 2005 , Kandis also helped drive the team to the NCAA National Championships, which was the first time the Cougars appeared in five years. She helped the team earn an 11th place finish in the entire nation. Finally, after much hard work and dedication as a Cougar gymnast, Kandis earned a full-ride scholarship her junior year in 2006. Once again she competed in every meet of the season on beam and topped the 9.8 mark on beam 7 times during the 2006 season. Kandis recently graduated from BYU with a degree in Communications and Sociology. Currently Kandis is working at BYU in the Athletic Department as a promotions coordinator where she gets to work with the BYU women's volleyball and gymnastics team. She oversees all the promotions and fulfills all the sponsorships at the events for those two teams. Kandis will be coaching her third year of summer gymnastics camps at BYU this June and July. She also has experience coaching level 5 and 6 gymnasts at Gym Quarters Gymnastics Center in Missouri and has coached a variety of classes at All-American including beginning, intermediate, and advanced tumbling. In her spare time, Kandis enjoys spending time with her husband, working out, wakeboarding, snow skiing, hiking, and watching movies. Kandis is originally from Rocklin, California and married her wonderful husband, Nic, in June of 2006.

Haylee Deardeuff


Haylee Deardeuff: Tumbling, Creative, and Combo Instructor Haylee has loved dance and gymnastics since she was a little girl, and has enjoyed doing them for 13 years. She grew up in Woodland Hills, Utah, and was a competing gymnast at Nebo Gymnastics until she began dancing when she got older. She was a part of the Heart-n-Soul Senior Company and also danced with her High School Dance Company and Drill Team. During High School she coached gymnastics at Nebo Gymnastics for 2 ½ years. She loves little kids, and has worked with all ages at her Coaching job, and at Utah Valley Pediatrics. She now lives in Alpine with her husband, Jon, whom she married in June of 2007. Besides dance and gymnastics, she likes to do yoga, bike, go camping, be outside, and spend time with her husband and her family
Brianna Jones
Brianna Jones is a Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Combo Instructor Brianna began her dance training in lyrical, jazz and hip hop at the age of 13 in Columbia, South Carolina . She started her high school career as a Varsity cheerleader and after two years, she co-founded the Dreher High School Dance Team. They worked with various teachers such as award-winning choreographer Terrance Henderson and Kesha Nichols of the New Jersey Net dancers. The dance team performed in local shows and events such as the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade at Five Points and the Palmetto Magicians Association Concert. She graduated as Captain and traveled to New York with her fellow dancers. Brianna then moved to Rexburg , Idaho where she danced on the Brigham Young University of Idaho Spirit Dance Team. She performed in shows such as I-Superstar and Slamdunk. She co-captained and choreographed for the dance team while teaching a jazz and a hip hop class on campus. In 2003, she moved to Provo where she now resides with her husband, Kory, and is pursuing a degree in Marriage, Home and Family Studies.

Martha Baldwin

Martha Baldwin ia Ballet and Mondern Instructor Martha is currently a student at Brigham Young University where she is double majoring in Dance and Spanish. In high school, she spent summers training with the Louisville Ballet, the Rock School, and the Kirov Academy of Ballet. She has performed roles in many ballets including the Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Paquita, the Sleeping Beauty, and Romeo and Juliet. She has spent the past two years performing with Ballet Showcase Company, a performing company at BYU. Martha appreciates and enjoys all genres of dance, including modern, hip hop, jazz, and folk. She believes that through practicing many different types of dance, you gain greater versatility and artistry in your technique.
Temria Airmet

Temria began dancing at a young age and has continued ever since. She recently graduated from the University of Utah’s Modern Dance Department where she trained in ballet, modern, jazz, and hiphop. Temria grew up competing in jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical. She attended Skyline High School and was on the Dance Company there. Her senior year she was a Step-Up dancer with the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company. She currently teaches and choreographs throughout the state.
